Behind the Design
Hey there! We’re Terry and Norma, the team behind Beau Papiere. We’ve worked together for years, and somewhere along the way we’ve developed a pretty good rhythm. Terry is usually the one dreaming up the ideas, while Norma keeps the production side moving and makes sure we’re ready to actually pull them off.

I’m the owner and lead designer behind Beau Papiere. I’ve spent more than 25 years working in weddings and events, and that experience shapes the way I approach every design. I’m not just thinking about how a piece looks on its own—I’m thinking about where it will be, what’s around it, how guests will interact with it, and how it fits into the celebration as a whole. I’m usually the one saying, “What if we tried…” and then figuring out with Norma how we’re actually going to make it happen.
Norma | Production Manager
I manage production at Beau Papiere. Once Terry has a design in motion, I’m usually working behind the scenes to make sure everything we need is ready to bring it to life. That might mean prepping pieces for an installation, keeping track of inventory and supplies, helping with assembly and production, or making sure everything down to the last screw is packed before we head to an event. I love the hands-on side of what we do and making sure we’re prepared when it’s time to put everything together.
What inspires us..
Inspiration can come from just about anywhere. We’re drawn to beautiful interiors, interesting architecture, fashion, art, color, texture, and the little details we notice along the way. Sometimes an entire design starts with a piece of wallpaper, a fabric, an architectural detail, or simply a color combination we can’t stop thinking about.
We also look at the celebration itself—the venue, the flowers, the linens, the overall design—and think about how our pieces can become part of it. We’re not interested in creating something beautiful just for the sake of being beautiful. It should feel like it belongs.
